Dan Geraghty, Ph.D.
President and Chief Executive Officer
Dr. Geraghty founded Scisco Genetics in 2006. He is also a member of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, where he conducts research in the field of HLA and KIR immunogenetics. His research led to the development of the high throughput and high resolution HLA and KIR typing methods that became the foundation of Scisco Genetics. Dr. Geraghty received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Minnesota.
Shalini Pereira, M.S., Ph.D. D(ABHI)
Dr. Pereira joined Scisco Genetics in 2012 as Laboratory Director. She was previously the Director and Technical Supervisor of the Clinical Immunogenetics laboratory at the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Dr. Pereira is certified by the American Board of Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Rochester Medical Center.
Ruth Geraghty, C.P.A.
Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Geraghty has been a Certified Public Accountant in Washington State for over 25 years and has extensive expertise in providing financial, tax, and management consulting services to small businesses. She has been assisting Scisco Genetics, Inc. in making the right business decisions since its inception in 2006.
Chul Woo Pyo, Ph.D.
Chief of Research and Development
Dr. Pyo has worked with Dr. Geraghty on HLA and KIR immunogenetics research since 2003 at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. He joined Scisco Genetics as a Research Scientist in 2006. Dr. Pyo’s expertise in developing and implementing HLA and KIR typing technologies has enabled Scisco Genetics to provide efficient, low cost, and high resolution typing. Dr. Pyo received his Ph.D. degree from The Catholic University of Korea.
Wyatt Nelson, Ph.D.
Dr. Nelson joined Scisco Genetics in 2012. Using his expertise in engineering and biotechnology, he is developing our Integrated Genotyping System for use in clinical laboratories. Dr. Nelson received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.
